Friday was the National Wear Red Day. You might have seen people all over the place wearing red. If you didn’t know, this is the day that is spent bringing awareness to heart disease in women. It is celebrated the first Friday in February and people, and buildings, get all dressed up to show their support.
This is the number 1 health threat to women and this day was established by the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute a part of the National Institutes of Health and the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services to bring attention to this serious issue.
